Tragedy strikes in a remote village

It was a temperate morning on the 5th of May
and all the members of the village council
had woken up quite early for the brand new day.
Noon came upon them in the local tavern, when
Ferocious screams disturbed their rendez-vous.
As they arrived at mrs. Floarea`s house,
they found she had been badly beaten with a shoe
and saw her son escaping through the rear door.
The mayor caught the villain, put him to the ground
And kicked his ass until he made no sound.
The desperate mrs. Floarea started shouting,
got up and, blind with anger, grabbed a knife,
then tried to stab the mayor in the back
but put a hole into the priest instead,
who wanted nothing but to end the strife.
As she walked by, the mayor`s pretty wife
saw her young lover lying in the dust,
picked up a broken bottle and cracked her husband`s head.
She looked at mrs. Floarea, who then looked back at her,
the sun was falling down and all the sky was pink…
“Come,” mrs. Floarea said, “Let`s get ourselves a drink”.
